Foggy Free-standing selected for the ADI Design Index 2025

Foggy Free-standing, the mirror that reinterprets light as a design material, has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2025, officially entering the list of candidates for the next Compasso d’Oro. Designed by Studio Adolini, Foggy represents a new vision of the bathroom mirror: no longer a simple accessory, but an integral part of the architecture and visual well-being.

“We are very proud of this recognition, which recognizes not only the product but also our vision of mirrors,” say Monica De Conti and Alexander Caruso, founders of the brand. “For us, mirrors are key players in their environments: they tell stories, evoke sensations, and contribute to the identity of the places where they are placed.”

Foggy’s strength lies in its soft, diffused lighting, the result of patent-pending technology that generates a “fog” effect, hence its name. The light emanates from the frame and expands toward the center, offering a balanced and comfortable visual experience, ideal for spaces dedicated to relaxation and everyday home life.

From a technical standpoint, Foggy integrates patented Ghost technology, which keeps the surface fully reflective when the light is off. The light intensity is dimmable and available in three color temperatures (3000K, 4000K, 6000K) to adapt to any context and create customized atmospheres. Thanks to GlowWave technology, the light gradually flows along the perimeter, creating an enveloping and dynamic effect.

Available in various shapes and sizes, including a freestanding version, Foggy meets the needs of architects, interior designers, and planners. Every detail reflects a perfect balance between aesthetics, comfort, and innovation.
